Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. Her first
feature film came out in the 1995 independent drama Kids. She has since starred
in films such as He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (1901), Men in
Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and
the Olympians (2010). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics,
Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The actress was also nominated for the
Critics Choice Movie Award for the Best Actress In a Comedy for Top Five
(2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland Double Tap (2019).
Dawson was born in New York City on May 9, 1979. Isabel Celeste is her mother
and is of Afro-Cuban origin. Rosario was 16 years old at the time of her birth.
Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris who was her father in law. Rosario's
mom, Greg Dawson, was employed as a construction worker when she was only one
year old. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's
half-brother. Dawson is also known for several roles in comic-book adaptations.
She played Ahsoka Tano on The Mandalorian's second season in 2020 and will be
starring in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In addition, she will be appearing
in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy produced developed by Dwayne John in
2021.
